It's the sound that your series of tubes make they are filled, when you put your message in, it gets in line and it's going to be delayed by anyone that puts into that tube enormous amounts of material, enormous amounts of material.
I think he makes a good point. If the incentive the Macaque needs is some clicking noise from a device, copyrights are obsoletes, we just need to make sure artists are rewarded with clicks and whirring noises so that they keep producing works of art.
I don't buy things that are on internet Ads. Like, if I wanted to buy something, and then saw an Ad of it, I would think "hey, don't tell me what to do, buddy!" and then not buy it.
So, I'm actually doing them a favor, see. By blocking them Ads, I make sure I'm not negatively influenced by it in case it's a product I would normally decide to buy.
Google just didn't go far enough. After they removed the snippets, and got offered "free license" to the snippets, they should have told them that now they charge news companies in Germany for the snippets so if they want Google to show the snippet, pay up.
An hypothesis would first need an observation. Like "crime is going up" and "police enforcement is becoming lax", then formulate that maybe scrutiny is causing it. A theory would be a confirmation that the evidence supports the hypothesis enough and be peer reviewed.
But if there's not data of those things even happening (other than expressions of butthurt policemen) we can't even move into hypothesis.
I'm actually waiting for the biography of Ballmer to make it into a movie. I'd definitely watch it if David Koechner plays him. It would start like a comedy documenting his clueless antics in Microsoft, but then could get a bit more deep with him not sucking and doing more stuff like this.
Excellent. Anonymous Coward just declared every instance of "honest mistakes" on "file sharing" sites a complete non-starter.
We need to spread the word to every copyright holder out there, that any attempt to pursue legal action against any of those who make these "honest mistakes" are complete non-starters and that they mustn't bother.

They're part of the whole barrel that got rotten.

I hope it means that every artist "just deserts" this horrible music corporation.
"But let's say you wanted to give Time Warner the benefit of the doubt here"
I see the words but I don't know what this means.

Re: Re: typo
Bee sure to right it good this time.

That's no moon... it's a space station.
Re: Pedantically,
Agreed.

Re:
Well, it's "a gamble" because you may get entertained or not, but you definitely get a movie.
But there was no chance that the movie was going to throw a bunch of coins at you. Unless it's some sort of Mario Bros 3D remake.
Aren't all judges by definition arm-chair judges? Except maybe for Judge Dredd, their job description is to sit in an arm-chair and judge others.

Wow, that means that an adult over 30+ that has the body of a 15 year old would be prosecuted for owning sexual photos of him/herself?

Re: Honest mistakes happen too -- just like on "file sharing" sites -- and Youtube is not about to attempt judging!
