DailyDirt: Endless Rain Into A Paper Cup….

from the urls-we-dig-up dept

It’s interesting how packaging can affect the way we consume products and perceive how they taste. Just adding some coloring to foods can make them seem to taste completely different. But changing the color of the packaging might have a similar effect? Here are some interesting packaging changes for some common beverages.

By the way, StumbleUpon can also recommend some good Techdirt articles, too.

The Devil's Coachman (profile) says:

I’ve had several boxed wines over the last decade, and while a lot of them truly taste like ass must taste, some of them are pretty decent, and give a good QPR. Most of them were in the 1 – 3 liter range, but I have not had the opportunity to try a smaller package yet. However, if I see one, I will.

The danger with the larger format ones is the same danger you would have if you converted your kitchen sink sprayer hole to a beer tap – entirely too convenient, and your liver will pay a hefty price somewhere down the line. A friend of mine had a neighbor who did just such a thing with the sink. Less than a year later, his doctor informed him that he had had his last drink. Sad.
