Techdirt Podcast Episode 253: Post-Pandemic Tech

from the recovery-assistance dept

The COVID-19 pandemic is far from over, and as it rages on we’re learning a lot about technology’s role in a situation like this — but it’s also worth looking forward, and thinking about how tech will be involved in the process of repairing and recovering from the damage the pandemic has done. This week, we’re joined by TechNYC executive director Julie Samuels to discuss the role of technology in a post-pandemic world.

Your Kennedy article

Mike, I’ve followed you on TWIT and, for the most part, enjoy and look forward to your articles. I myself am older than dirt and at various points in life have subscribed to most political spectrums. Now, my attitude is "a pox on all their houses". Having said this, I’m not sure I agree totally with the image you convey of Project Veritas. They have at times been vindicated, especially most recently in their suit against the FBI re the 2nd amendment. My basic point is it’s good to check out many opinions in order to achieve a bit of balance. I agree their are many kook organizations out there but there are also "main stream" organizations out there that possibly meet the criterion of kook.
Love your work and wish I could afford to lend financial support.
