A 300GB cap would be exceeded if the user downloaded at full speed for a mere 40 minutes.
I find this shocking. You are telling me that there are people in America who purposely go to stadiums to watch soccer?
The real crime is he stole the name from George Pal!
Never trust anyone who "just wants to have a discussion" or who is "trying to raise awareness".
This is a good report, but are we sure we should be trusting this Kagan guy from Saturday Night Live?
Things that make your brown eyes blue are much better than things that make your blue eyes brown.
"...and that no criminal wrongdoing was uncovered."
I don't think that's what CMP videos where trying to prove. They were trying to show that Planned Parenthood was taking pieces of aborted fetuses and selling them to companies for monetary compensation. It turns out that's exactly what they were, and presumably are doing.
It wasn't CMP who said they were breaking the law. They were just saying it's a hideous and immoral act.
"We still see people coming into pay TV. It remains the widest spread household service in the country after heat and electricity."
It is a sad state of affairs when more households have tv service than running water service.
This is a perfect example of why those of us who were against government-controlled net neutrality were against the idea. And it also what the net neutrality cheerleaders at techdirt said would never happen if the laws were passed.
Guess what? It's happening a lot.
I think you read it incorrectly. They just said they have no idea how to crack down on VPNs (though everyone knows they do. It's just a stupid idea to do it, from their perspective at least).
We used a Netflix pword from my cousin about two years ago. 23 months ago, we became Netflix subscribers. And we created two more subscribing families with the same tactic.
Pretty sneaky, Netflix.
Chicago murdered 100 people already this year. We really need to ban Chicago, ppl.
I told my brother, "I couldn't eat the meal because a little kid sitting next to me was picking his nose and wiping his boogers on the table."
He quoted me as saying, "I... eat... boogers."
Can I sue him?
Yes, anonymous coward. Everyone who is not an extreme leftist is as you've described.
"Open Insulin Project Could Help Save Thousands Of Lives And Billions Of Dollars"
Yeah, but what if all of those thousands of people saved turn out to be reincarnated Hitlers, and the $billions are spent on creating the Fourth Reich? Are we sure we want to risk this?
ESPN is extremely far to the left politically, which seems strange for a non-political format such as sports. I'm just noting this because it may be an additional reason for the cord cutting that's going on. It was the final straw for us at least. You can't get DirecTV without ESPN, so we decided just to junk the whole system.
Now we use the internet, Netflix, and Hulu+. Might even dump Hulu+, since no one at my home uses it appreciably.
That contract is the main reason I haven't had sex with Charlie Sheen. Well, that and I'm a guy and not into that. And he never asked me to have sex. But mostly, the contract.
Every time I hear that company name, I think of boobs.
The funny thing is, the monkey in the photo's actual name is Natikki. Naruto is his monkey brother and is just trying to scam people with this copyright troll scheme.
I spoke with Natikki, and he says to put the photo under GPL.
I'm going to start a new website that will just have photos of dropped mp3 players and phones that are covered in mud. I'm going to call it 'TechDirty'.
