Why would Facebook create a messaging app? So grandma can see more baby pictures?
No, to spy on you.
I had Facebook Messenger on my phone briefly. Made one phone call to one pawn shop on my cell phone. When I got home that night Facebook was recommending the pawn shop as a friend.
I removed Facebook Messenger immediately. Facebook doesn't need to know the numbers I'm calling on my phone.
Or....
Someone fat fingered and update to a sql data base and accidentally turned a bunch of "Deleted" flags from 1 to 0.
Always execute a select with your where clause before executing and update or delete.
"Where TwitterID like '%Wizard%'"
Musk himself keeps making pronouncements about how the site is working better than ever (which lack any evidence whatsoever).
Kinda like FSD for Tesla, huh?
I guess this is Twitter running into a parked emergency vehicle with it's lights on.
For rural areas, they aren't going to run fiber to your house. Not with out lots of government subsidies. Rural America only got electricity because the government was willing to foot the bill.
"Rural communities" might have access, but try being at the end of a 5 mile dirt road. Or a ranch in Montana. Lots of places in the US are still remote enough to make laying wire or cable or fiber too labor intensive to make economical sense.
There's also parts of Africa Australian outback. Starlink definitely has it's place. And Musk has said, it's not a replacement for urban internet providers. This is to get the remote areas on board.
That's been on my mind too.
A group of people stood around and did nothing while 3 cops murdered George Floyd.
At what point are you justified in using force to prevent a crime? If it were not the cops, I know when. Why doesn't the same standard apply when faced with homicidal cops?
If I do nothing while watching a black man get lynched, I am as guilty as the lynchers. Even if the lynchers are wearing a uniform.
Carrying a gun in Chicago at 2:30am when you are 13 is NOT doing everything you are supposed to do. Staying the $*%& home at 13, and being ready for school the next day IS.
I am VERY leery of government power, but doing dumb $#!+ has consequences. This does not fall into the same category as sitting on a man's neck for 9 minutes.
Governments are the only ones at risk of free speech.
Traditional main stream media outlets also have lost control of the dialog.
A healthy dose of critical thinking is needed when consuming unfiltered "news" and opinion, but even so it's better than having corporate mouth pieces guiding the conversation to the desired conclusion.
Facebook Messenger is spyware

Bored during Covid-19
"Bailey ... was bored during the COVID-19 lockdown..." Obviously the cops were too

Card carrying NRA member
Ummmm...never had a "I feared for my life" instruction in any of my NRA courses. I'm thinking you are making things up.
Arkansas, not Alaska
Do you even know where we are? "Some of those 102 children were in AK"
Better than ever!

Found the NAZIs
They've invaded parliament. (And Congress.)
"fully contained"
As in, "already for sale on the dark web."
Who's spying?
Who's trying to spy on me? Hint. It's a government, but not China's.
Not very sporting.
Hardly sporting is it?
Like shooting fish in a barrel.
Remember when they raided Willie Nelson's tour bus?
Fiber isn't a fix

Good Cop / Bad Cop
So, instead of getting rid of a dirty cop, they just made sure it was a clean cop that testified.
A little good cop/bad cop.
One to hide or plant evidence, one to testify.

Pedos use cars...
...so let's ban cars too.
Re: Apple should be proscuted un RICO
stupid stuck keys. ...UNDER RICO
Apple should be proscuted un RICO
This is an absolute rip-off.
Apple has become a criminal organization.
Not the only ones treatened

Don't Drone me bro!
Meanwhile, Iraqi Domino's drivers are begging Al Qaeda to quit ordering their halil pizzas....
Real culprit
Come on, it's not all Hugo Boss's fault.
Lawyer's need something to do. Imagining slights for billable hours keeps the lights on.
