I was watching TWC last night for about 5 minutes, and the whining they did about getting dropped from DirecTV was nauseating so I turned it off. These days the only time I watch TWC is when there is a hurricane bearing down somewhere.
Wouldn't Aereo viewers mean more people are watching the broadcasts, and the commercials? With so many people cord-cutting, I would think broadcasters would welcome them with open arms.
...that nobody watches their channels anyway.
Most publishers don't get ebooks. Browsing through books on Amazon shows a lot of books that have ebook versions priced higher than paperback. When I see that, it makes my choice easy ... no hardcover, no paperback, and no ebook. Idiots.
This is exactly THE point. With these kind of responses, the terrorists are winning, but the TSA just doesn't see it.
The record labels aren't allowing as many promotional videos to be played and sales are decreasing. Hmmmmm, correlation??
Patent selling
Patents should not be transferable. Period. Not given away, not bought, not sold. That way they would help protect the ones that actually did the work, not some troll that only bought a piece of paper. When the original patent holder dies, the patent dies with them.
Of course corporations can hold patents, so in those cases the patent should have a reasonable life span, say 4 years.
