On the other hand requiring Fox News, Sinclair broadcasting, et al to be neutral could be interesting. Imagine Hannity's head exploding when he gets told he MUST be neutral. He won't be able to say anything. Nothing. how could that be a bad thing.
On the bright side there are some states, like Minnesota, where the use of all electronic systems is illegal. A marked paper ballot is fed into and stored in a counting machine. At the end a sampling of precincts are re-tallied on a separate machine to verify. All the machines are tested after they are prepared and cannot be opened by individual poll workers. No chads, no missing electrons, very little fuss.
There are times in life where a little inefficiency is a good thing, this is one of them.
At this point it seems the best thing for him to do is find a place to live that is nowhere near Mexico. Imagine the screaming if someone were to grab him and smuggle him across the border, all to no avail. Once there he would probably be charged with murder, tried and convicted. From what I have heard Mexican prisons can be 'unpleasant'; especially in his situation.
And of course Voksi never shared his methods with friends. Yeah, right. They just enjoyed watching to see how long it took.
Now there will be a race to see who can do it first.
This could get very interesting. If a business is required to pay taxes in a remote state then it follows that it should have standing to participate in other state activities; like making political donations to candidates it favors. State laws that restrict campaign donations from 'outside' entities would not apply since the business is a taxpayer even if they have no physical presence.
This could be good news to anyone that is being sued by one of the copyright trolls. If they rent from Comcast they have a perfect defense: Comcast gave away my ID and Password. No one could prove that they had not been compromised.
The FBI should simply ask their friends over at the NSA for help.
The NSA has some smart people. If it were possible to build a secure system that had a Workable access when warranted they should be able to create it. It would need to be vetted by multiple outside parties (any and everybody). Then they wouldn't need to always whine that the tech companies should 'nerd harder'.
If that were to happen all the serious 'bad guys' would simply use another system developed outside the U.S. So sad FBI, it is not happening. There is a word for when the wishes of the government override the will of the people; that word is NAZI.
Let him tweet all he wants. His tweets are a window into the real Trump, and I want to be able to see the real Trump. No filters. No spin. Let the people that elected him see what they voted for. Let him communicate directly with the people. Let them take out their anger on the weasels that let it happen. For myself, I intend to sit back and snipe at the little bird every time it opens it's beak.
Ulanoff should look in a mirror. That is where he will find the person that should not be trusted to repair his own devices. He is trying to burden the rest of use with his own inadequacies. He should stop trying to protect all the special snowflakes from their own stupidity.
If Apple wants to void my warranty if I do my own repair I'm OK with that. If they charge me extra after I mess it up that's reasonable.
If I buy it, I own it. I will what I want with it.
