I could NOT agree with you more.

I'm one of those people. Fortunately, almost everything I had on MegaUpload was also on my external hard drives.
But it made fixing my website a beyotch when MegaUpload died.
So is the government now going to go after judges?
Are we going to see judges being deemed 'mentally deficient" and disappear or suddenly [conveniently] some trumped up sex charges by ex-CIA agents because judges are standing up for our rights???
Yes, changing the file extension will work for sharing/email.
The person receiving it just changes the file back to the correct extension.
For example - suppose I have an avi video to send to an Iranian friend. I change the file extension from ".avi" to ".abc" and send the file. Then after they receive and download it, they change the extension back to ".avi".
Now they can watch it.
However, that same video MUST have the correct file extension in order for it to be viewed in a website.
SO, changing the extension will work for sending email
but websites won't be able to show it without the correct file extension.
Silly, naive me. LOL!
I'm a US citizen and I just assumed that I would need a passport or visa to travel to a foreign country. Canada and the Bahamas are fine with driver's license/ID but I assumed anywhere else would *require* a passport or visa.
I'm actually surprised that apparently there are countries I could travel to without needing anything! Really???

Well, let me exert my 1st amendment rights to SAY that I would execute my 2nd amendment rights to help protect my 4th amendment rights.

Judges push back - Are they next?
